Have you been DEEP SEA FISHING in Florida?

I want to plan a short trip for my fiance in November. Maybe a 3-5 hour deep sea fishing trip either in Naples or Ft. Lauderdale. I would like to hear from you only if you know details and hopefully a referral to a specific company. That area is the only place we can go.

I live just north of Naples, have fished offshore here. Fishing is decent but you have to go so far out, 20 miles +, to get into water even 40' in depth. Porgies, hogfish, snapper & grouper are typical fare. I fish alot in Islamorada. While the bottom structure differs from Lauderdale, the fish species is similar. You'll have a greater variety of fish on the east coast and not have to travel so far out to reach decent water depths. I'd say go to Ft. Lauderdale for offshore fishing. Sorry, don't know charters there. Hope you all have a great time.
