1.) Berkley Powerbait Worms & Jerkbaits(Salt & Freshwater)- In my opinion, "Gulp" and Powerbait are excellent soft plastic's. I would not go inshore saltwater or freshwater fishing without some Powerbait or Gulp. Bass, Crappie, Walleye, Trout, Pike, Musky, Etc. And in saltwater- Redfish, Spec Trout, Flounder, Tarpon, Snook, Snapper, Etc.

Everything that swims eats Berkley baits.

2.) Jigs- Any jig (either in fresh or saltwater) is the "perfect" lure. In most cases it's cheap, effective, and can cover any part of the water column. Name another type of lure that you can use for Grouper, Musky, Bass, Redfish, Sturgeon, Eel, Squid, Etc. Jigs are amazing & effective!

3.) Hard plastic Crankbaits- Rapala's, Yozuri's, Cotton Cordell, Rattle Traps, Etc. For freshwater and inshore saltwater fishing cranks are king!

4.) (Coming in close to 3rd) Spoons- Spoons are a forgotton lure that have the same characteristics as a jig but the "flash and flutter" of a wounded baitfish. Old Rapala spoons, Bagleys Chat R B's, Johnson, PET, Etc.

Them's my picks!
